Valiant Space selected for iLab Accelerator 2020, wins $20k grant
December 11th, 2019 - Valiant Space has been awarded $20,000 from the 2020 iLab Accelerator program, a startup accelerator run by The University of Queensland in Australia. The funds will allow the company to continue work on their liquid fuelled rocket engine demonstrator known as ‘Momentum’, as well as aid in the development of a non-toxic in-space thruster for the small satellite market.
“This is a fantastic result for us,” said Valiant Space co-founder and CEO, Andrew Uscinski. “After being shortlisted for an intense round of pitching, we are really excited to hear we will be participating in the iLab program next year.”
Valiant Space, along with 9 other startups, will also gain access to 6 months of mentorship and connections with an impressive lineup of founders providing insight into how to successfully accelerate a company.
